Who doesn't love a big bowl of warmed oats with loads of yummy toppings! I could literally eat this any time of the day. It makes an for an ideal breakfast, dinner, dessert or even to help curb any naughty late night cravings. Try out my strawberries & cream protein oats.... Here's how!
50g rolled oats
50 g egg whites
1 scoop vanilla MyProtein whey
200ml Unsweetened almond milk
White chocolate MyProtein FlavDrops
70g Total 0% Greek yogurt
1 square Lindt 85% dark chocolate
(Optional) MyProtein Zero strawberries syrup
In a saucepan on a low heat, mix together the oats, egg whites and almond milk and stir continuously. Pour in a little water until you get the desired consistency (some like their oats thicker than others) When the oats have thickened, take off the heat and slowly stir in the protein powder. In a separate bowl add some of the flavdrops to the Greek yogurt to sweeten. Simply pour into a bowl and decorate with the rest of the toppings to make your bowl of chocolate, strawberry and cream yummy goodness!
Another top tip...
Grate in some courgette (zucchini) when cooking the oats to add extra 'bulk' to make zoats! Sounds like a weird combination, but I promise you won't taste the green stuff at all.
