Low Carb Spag Bol...

There are times we crave something comforting, especially now that the Autumn is nearly on the horizon.... But when eating a bowl of cheesy pasta isn't ideal for helping us achieve our nutrition and fitness goals, we need a healthy alternative.

Say hello then to this delicious low carb Spaghetti Bolognese! This plate of goodness is not only completely diet friendly, but is very filling and packed with flavour. Give it a whirl!


Bolognese (Makes 5 portions)

500g Musclefoods Lean Steak Mince

170g Tomato Passata

50g Tomatoes

50g Mushrooms

50g Red Onion

50g Green Pepper

Musclefoods Deep South Seasoning

Sides & Toppings (Per portion)

20g Feta Cheese

150g Courgette 'spaghetti' (Shop bought or use a spiralizer to make it)

Firstly add the chopped vegetables in a large saucepan with a few pumps of spray light oil, place on a medium heat. Stir for a couple of minutes until the veg is softened, add in the mince and cook until brown. Finally add the passata and cook on a low temperature for a further 10 minutes.

In a separate small pan, add the courgette and stir fry for 2 minutes. Finally plate up the 'spaghetti' courgette and mince and top with crumbled feta.....Enjoy x
